„Saving Spoonie“ wins the German Nature Film Award
In the documentary “Saving Spoonie,” our freelancer Dr. Christoph Zöckler presents his work and that of our international partners to protect the valuable Far Eastern and Asian coastal habitats on which this small wading bird depends. Our greatest success to date has been our contribution to preventing the construction of a deep-water port near Shanghai and the integration of the area’s intact mudflats into the Chinese “Yellow Sea” protected area.
